Well I haven't been able to get up here to update. Roger's grandpa came to San Antonio on Tuesday for a heart checkup and ended up being admitted to the hospital for immediate surgery. Thus, we have spent all out time over at Baptist hospital downtown, but thankfully everything went well. Yesterday we got up at 5:00 to be there by 6:00 and we were just so exhausted by the end of the day.

So today I got to run some errands that I needed to get done. On my way to the post office and the bank I made a quick stop at Payless where I found these cute shoes. I thought they would look great with jeans and all the hot spring/summer colored tops. It's funny how a small purchase like this can make you so excited to get dressed and go somewhere.

My Cute New Shoes Posted by Hello

Not much else to report on. The parental units will be in town tomorrow and Danny and I will be meeting them for lunch. I have a spa party with Julie at 3:00 and should be out by 7:00. Don't know if I will be able to update much after tonight....probably not until Sunday or Monday.

Adios!

Easter Weekend

So after my last post, I stayed up a while longer washing dishes and my jeans and just kind of cleaning up the house a bit. I finally went to sleep right before 6:00 just as the first light of the day was emerging. I knew I had a good 4 hours sleep before Migdalia was going to call and wake me up.

I got a call at 9:45 from the girl I was supposed to have the spa party with and thankfully she wanted to reschedule. I just was not in the mood to do a party in the afternoon, I mean I would have done it if she hadn't canceled but I wasn't looking forward to it like I usually am. I fell back asleep and woke up when Migdalia called me at 10:30, she had overslept and was supposed to be in the office at 8:30. We decided that we were not in a rush to get to Eagle Pass and that she would call me later when she got back home. I finally got up at 11:00 and made myself some strong coffee. It was one of those days that you just want to stay home snuggled up with a blanket watching a movie or reading a good book. The weather outside was just nasty, cool, rainy and dark. I love those kinds of days.

I got dressed and threw some clothes into my bag and went to pick up Migdalia around 2:00. We had a good drive up with no rain and just talked about random things, mostly guys. When we got to town I spent the rest of the day with my mother in law and Migdalia just hanging out at the house and waiting for the guys who had gone to Zaragoza, Mexico.....they were supposed to just go and come back...yeah right, they got back around 1:00 a.m. Migdalia and I went downtown to Ueta to get two bottles and we decided to walk the bridge to Mexico instead of driving which was fine except that at the same time a massive windstorm started up. By the time we got home I was covered in dirt, there was dirt everywhere...my mouth, my shoes, my purse, my brush, hair, even in my freaking bra...it was horrible. The weather just got worse and it eventually rained and got very cool.

After a stupid fight on Sunday morning with Roger, we had a great day. We enjoyed spending the day with his family cooking out and riding our 4 wheelers downd the alley and the street. This was the first time I had gotten on the bike and it was sooo much fun! Later on we went to my grandparents house around 6:00 and took the bike over there. We had a blast running all over the place cracking easter eggs over everyone. Some people even got them down their pants which I'm sure was very uncomfortable....but it was funny as shit!!

We spent the remainder of the night and this morning with Roger's parents who left back for Chicago today. Roger and I took my dad out to eat then we left EP. I got back into San Antonio around 7:30, just in time to watch the new season of "The Bachelor" on ABC. It was entertaining but I'm not sure I like all the new rules and changes they made to the show. Some of those bitches were just plain crazy!!! It should be interesting to watch I suppose.

Out and About all Over Town

Today was crazy, but it was a good day overall. Woke up at 9:00 this morning after a restless night to get dressed so that Danny and I could go to James Avery. He returned from getting his hair cut and the bank around 11:15 and we took off. He bought me the most beautiful cross and chain....I love it! I also bought myself the Alamo charm which is so cute, even the back of it has a design on it just like the real one.

My new cross....thanks Dan : ) Posted by Hello

Front and back of Alamo charm Posted by Hello

We left the mall at 12:30 and I headed of to meet Ruby at Chellas. I didn't get there unitl 1:15 due to crappy construction work on I-35 and some stupid moron who didn't let me move over and take my exit, then proceeded to flip me off. I finally got there and luch was sooo delicious. I had my usual and Ruby had the special as usual.

I spent the rest of the day at Rolling Oaks Mall and scored 3 cute v-neck shirts at JC Penny and 3 sleevles tanks at Foleys. I also picked up my bracelet with my new charm but was kind of creeped out on my way upstairs to James Avery because I was being followed by some wierdo. Luckily I lost him after that and I didn't see him again. I may be short, but I walk really fast!

Next I headed off to the Forum and stopped at Bealls to get my grandmother a night gown. I then went to Old Navy where I planned on purchasing 3 pairs of flip flops and a signature tee but opted not to get it due to the long lines, so I headed next door to TJ Maxx. I found a fabulous beige xoxo hobo purse that will look great with my beige sandals that I got last week. It was only $12.99.....gotta love that store. Finally I headed over to Target, then Payless then back home.

Migdalia, Ruby, Yvette and I decided to go to the movies to see "Guess Who" at 9:50 at AMC. I quickly showered and dressed and headed out. The movie was freakin hilarious....I highly recommend you see this if you get the chance. The theatre was packed and we were almost forced to sit in seperate seats but we managed to get a guy to move a couple seats down. This unfortunatley put me next to another guy who seemed to have a comment and wanted to talk during the movie several times. Geeeeeeeeeez....shut the hell up, I didn't come with you, nor do I care what you think!!

Anyway, after that Ruby and I stayed at Migdalias until 2:00 just chatting. I headed home, but not before stopping by Whataburger for an early breakfast. Migdalia and I will be leaving for Eagle Pass tomorrow around noon since it seems that the spa party I had booked has been rescheduled. I really am in no mood to do it now anyway.

So now here I am, I'm tired but I ain't in bed yet. I'm alone tonight and the house is so quiet and now it's raining. I have a hard time sleeping in this house when no one else is here. It's not like when I was living on my own in my cute apartment, I was fine then. This place just feels so big when I'm alone here at night.....or could it be that I'm a little freaked out that this past Saturday my dishwasher wich I haven't used in almost a year suddenly got loaded with soap and proceeded to wash what was inside all by itself. Yeah, that's probably it.

Souper Lunch

For a change I went out for lunch today. I met Migdalia at her office and we headed over to Souper Salad on I-10. I have been craving Souper Salad for the longest time and it was delicious! After that I headed over to Ruby's office to drop off a Beauticontrol order and vist with her for a while. Next was the bank and I finally got back home at 4:00 and sadly Oprah was a rerun. I hate these damn rerun shows, they should always be new.

I had some work to do on the computer and balanced my checkbook. I then decided to workout while I watched 4 episodes of Jake in Progress, and now the show has grown on me. That John Stamos is a hottie....I can finally think of him as something other than "Uncle Jessie", good Lord, that "Full House" show was cheesy. Sadly, I have seen every episode.

Well I better sign off now. In the morning I'm heading over to James Avery with my brother to pick out my birthday gift. I really want the Alamo charm for my bracelet but I'm also in love with a cross they have, so I guess we will see. I'm also having lunch with Ruby at our favorite place, Chellas. We used to go there every week, several times actually when we both worked at CC. I miss the food and the great service they'd give us everytime. Tonight I'll be dreaming of enchiladas. Yummy.

Same Crap, Different Day

Not much new to report on, it was almost boring today. Hard to believe how fast this week is flying by, it seems like I just finished celebrating my birthday yesterday and now here it's Thursday again.

On a positive note, I've finally lost a couple pounds, just in time for fiesta and spring/summer clothing. I modified my workout early last week from running on the treadmill to some difficult inclined walking and increased the time. Also, I've been monitoring what I'm eating and have given up sodas.

Anyway, Wednesday evenings are pretty boring when it comes to TV and the only thing I wanted to watch was Newlyweds which I completley missed! I was watching Vacation Swap on ABC and just forgot. The show wasn't even that good. I will have to wait for the rerun which will probably air tomorrow.

It looks like I will be alone on Friday and Saturday. I won't be going to Eagle Pass with everyone on Friday because I have a spa party in Seguin on Saturday at 4:00. I don't want to reschedule this party because the hostess is having 7 people over and I'm hoping to recruit at least 4 and maybe book at least 1 more party. That means I have to be packed by the time I head over there and then just drive straight to EP when the party ends. I will probably get there late. As long as I have my Gary CD's to listen to I should be fine. What is awesome is Julie booked a party with a sorority that will include 35 girls next Friday. She asked me to help her out and we will split the recruits. I'm looking forward to that one.

I'm off to bed...chow!

Friday Night With Gary

This by far had to have been the best night EVER! I had an awesome night on Friday when Bev and I met at Cowboys to see Gary Allan. Since the tickets were general admission, I was hoping we might get a good spot, but I did not expect that we would get one of the best spots in the house! We ended up standing right at the stage towards the middle left.

Celeste & Beverly ~ Waiting for Gary Posted by Hello

The tickets said 7:00 but we had no idea that Gary wasn't coming on until 11:00. It was a long wait but once he came out, it was worth the wait, we couldn't believe how close he was to us and also how hot he was!

Gary Closeup Posted by Hello

The show was incredible, he played for over 2 hours and we got to hear him perform 3 new songs and other old favorites. Gary & the HTW came out to start the show with RWINTB... and in no order -we heard Her Man, Wine Me up, Wake up Screaming, Don't leave her lonely, SRITD, I got to hear my song LOVING YOU AGAINST MY WILL, bourbon borderline, Runaway with Surf intro, Man to Man, What I'd say, What's on my mind, Alright Guy, I don't look back, What would Willie do, Drinking Dark Whiskey, Tough little boys, Songs about Rain, Guys like me and Showman's life. The crowd was really singing NOBTR.. and Gary was loving it.. he motioned his hands up meaning.. SING IT LOUDER. Special songs we heard were Me& billy the kid, going where the lonley go, That's what makes you strong and Gary also sang Honky tonk Angel. We heard "Misery", and the soon to be a hit.. BEST I EVER HAD (GREY SKY MORNING).

Gary playing RWINTB Posted by Hello

Gary played right in front of Bev and I several times and I grabbed his leg and boot and Beverly even stuck a Y100 sticker on the back of his right leg! I finally caught the second guitar pick he threw at me during Alright Guy...that is my new prized possession! When the show ended we were deaf but we had a blast and vowed that we must see Gary every time he comes to town!

I'm Getting Up There

Well another birthday has come and gone...I'm 27 now. I can't believe I'm just a few short years away from 30!

Well my birthday was fun, ended up going to lunch with Roger and Danny at Camino Ranch then around 7:00 we headed over to Hooligans where Roger again surprised me by having everyone there already. We were joined by Julie, Demond, Ruby, Migdalia, Yvette, Narce, Felicia, Trisha, Danny, Jr, and Kimmy. Migdalia even took a delicious chocolate cake that we shared with our awesome waiter and the bouncer.

It was a great night, it't fun to celebrate your birthday with friends and even better when it's also St. Patricks Day. I got 3 new charms for my James Avery bracelet, a stylish compact, a lotion set from Bath & Body and earlier in the week Roger had given me an awesome MP3 Player and 2 tickets for Gary Allan at Cowboys on 3/18.

The only bummer was that it seemed all the guys got sick on the green beer, it must have been the green dye.

Yes I'm Still Alive

Crap...it has been such a long time since I posted in here. I have had so many things to write about lately, and I always plan on posting in here, but then I get here and think..."I don't feel like having to write right now". Lazy Me. I will update tomorrow....hopefully.
