NIOSA
Well we finally made it to NIOSA. Roger and I took Migdalia and my mother-in-law so that we could get her out of the hospital for a while. Luckily it was a nice night, breezy and fresh, so unusual here in Texas. It was packed but not as bad as last year so we were able to move around easily. I ended up running into my cousin Linda who was with her husband and some friends. We also saw a few other friends from back home. So much food, so few tickets but we tried a variety of things including churros, cotton candy, pizza, cowboy clumps (meatballs with cheese and jalapenos), fajita meat, fried mushrooms, gyros, corndogs, armadillo eggs (fried jalapenos with cheese), german chocolate cake, beer and some other sweet drink that was pretty good. No I didn't eat all that myself but tried most of it :)
We had a good time and we might be going again with Ted and Amalia but we'll see. If you ask me what my favorite thing about living in San Antonio is, it's downtown....I love it, the riverwalk, the Alamo, the mix of cultures I love going to anything that is taking place downtown. That is what I miss the most about working there.
